Fast Action was my first official project at age 19. "Rock & Roll Tonight", was recorded in 1979, as a demo for the band. I never really thought about it much after that, although friends would ask about it from time to time.
Fast forward to 2020. I received this email from Josh. Josh is the son of Greg, one of the original members of the band:
" Hello Howard, This is Greg's son Josh. attached is all the fast action songs, sorry it took so long to find them.
"I just wanted to let you know that growing up listening to this tape is what inspired me to pick up the guitar and learn to play. Honestly i still can't even figure out most of these songs because you play so fast, even some of the basic riffs. I can't figure out what chords you used. If you ever pick up the guitar and play one of these songs it would be really helpful if you wrote down the chords you used for me! Or better yet, video playing it!
